Colonel Gregory Boyington

Gregory "Pappy" Boyington (December 4, 1912 – January 11, 1988) was an American combat pilot who was a United States Marine Corps fighter

 ace during World War II. 

He received the *Medal of Honor* and the Navy Cross. 

A Marine aviator with the Pacific fleet in 1941, 

Boyington joined the "Flying Tigers" (1st American Volunteer Group) of the Republic 

of China Air Force and saw combat in Burma in late 1941 

and 1942 during the Second Sino-Japanese War.

그레고리 "패피" 보잉턴(1912년 12월 4일 ~ 1988년 1월 11일)은 

제2차 세계 대전 당시 미국 해병대 전투기 에이스였던 미국의 전투 조종사였습니다. 

그는 *명예 훈장*과 해군 십자훈장을 수여받았습니다. 

1941년 태평양 함대 소속 해병 비행사로 복무했던 보잉턴은 중화민국 공군의 

"플라잉 타이거스"(제1 미국 의용군)에 입대하여 

제2차 중일 전쟁 중 1941년 말과 1942년에 버마에서 전투에 참전했습니다.
